(no subject)

I can't do this. I don't know how to do this. I haven't learned this, and I've no time to figure it out. I'm in over my head, and out of my league. I shouldn't be here.

I'm going to be sick...

[Update 01:58am]: I started getting somewhere in the Ada program. My problems there had been pointer-related, but Ada's a much more beautiful language than C, which here means she gave me meaningful-enough error messages that I could Google what I was doing wrong. I'm not *sure* that I'm doing things right, but it compiles, and Ada won't compile unless she's happy. C still sucks. But I think I may go to bed.

Plotting

This is partly for me to figure out where I'm at and where I need to go, and partly as an update for you people, because I know how much you care.

Classes end this Friday. 'Exam Week' is next Week, which is funny, as out of 5 courses, I'm only having 1 exam that week. I fly out Thursday afternoon, which is a little disappointing because (1)it's so far away and (2)if I'd known how these exams were being played sooner, I could have left a day or two earlier.

Well, Kirt tagged me for this, and if he did it I suppose I must, but I can't really think of any odd habits I have... Uhm, any of you out there who think you have any, feel free to share!

Ground rules: The first player of this "game" starts with the topic "Five Weird Habits of Yourself" and the people who get tagged need to then write a LJ entry about their five quirky little habits as well as state the rules of this game clearly. In the end, you need to list the next five people who you want to tag.

1) I have found, just recently, that it's almost impossible for me to get to sleep unless I'm on my left side. This may be a temporary thing, or I may just have never noticed.
2) I'm something of a stickler for correct spelling, which is odd (maybe not) because I was horrible at it as a kid.
3) I can be very single-minded (I'm sure you're all aware). When I'm walking, I get focused on getting from point A to B that I don't notice a whole lot between, unless it requires me to alter course; when I'm on a roadtrip, I stop for food or gas only with the greatest reluctance. I don't stop for the bathroom unless I also need food or gas.
4) Though I think plenty of girls are pretty, I get irrationally embarrassed if I made to say why, even though it's always as innocent as "she has pretty eyes."
5) I can say some of the most random things sometimes. This stems from my love of non-sequitur humour. It is exacerbated by being around my brothers.

So, the Meme goes like this: Take the first sentence of the first entry of every month, and post the resulting amalgamation. I did mine from Day One until Now; I figured I yoinked it from xydexx, I might as well follow suit. But I separated mine up into, uhm, reasonably-sensible pieces. It's a bit choppy, but what do you expect from a bunch of sentences meant to start posts?
