Yes. I always resented the Capricorn report and gave up in reading it. Always though in the end that I was a mix of the sign next to mine (Aqua ... since I fall on such a cusp of Cappy), and the great influence of my mother being a Cancer and my always being around her. Who knows?
... I've met some Capricorns that are very textbook with their attitude and how they live. Senta is one of them and it's forever bothered me. She's terribly tight with money, very void of most empathetic feelings, etc etc... like, every bad thing ever said about people born in that sign.
I used to have a birthday book, which gave a lot of person info for every day of every month... and I remember that the information listed for the 18th, as well as the people born that day, always reminded me of myself. Very silly on the outside, very serious on the inside, highly romantic and idealistic with their dreams/goals... as well as being totally cursed with bad luck in love (ie: Cary Grant. Married tons of times, always wanted to have a great relationship & lots of kids.... and never got that until the very end of his long life).
Man do I miss that birthday book. T___T Seems Capricorns are also prone to losing or misplacing things. Arg. >_
I always liked those birthday books better than the all-encompassing "sign" books...they seemed to get it a lot more correct when they broke it down to individual days.
How are you doing lately, Mel? Did you have a good holiday?
...my holiday was good. Small and full of too much white nasty snow falling all in a clump of 4' .... but it's winter. What am I to expect? If I wanted sun, I guess I should be in Florida, right?
How are your holiday? School going okay? (Happy Belated Birthday!)
I'm pretty good. We have horrible, disgusting, chill-you-straight-to-the-bone snow here right now, too...but I'm managing to stay pretty happy. With you in Cali and all, I'd expect you to be warmer...but you're up north, aren't you? Poor sweetness.
The holidays were kinda tough for me, with familial problems popping up a lot, so it's good to be back at school, even though most of the problems have righted themselves. School, for its part, is quite good, except for the fact that I'd like to just be here, without the obligation of class. ::grins:: Guess I should just quit being lazy. ^___^
By the way, I like that you got Lucette on that quiz I made. I think of you whenever I read her character in Ada.
