OK, so no, I lied. I really can't think of much to talk about. Truthfully, I haven't been posting as much as I wanted to because of one of the following:
A) Work has been running me ragged.
B) I'm having trouble thinking of anything save Claire.
C) I broke my arm. Both of them. At several places. In a freak Lay-Z-Boy accident.
D) Aliens. It was Aliens.
Go ahead and take your pick. In the mean time, I'll try and dig up something to say. Most everyone here at the office is out for the day, including my boss. Of course, within the first 45min, I'd managed to check my mail, LiveJournal, and MagicTheGathering.com. It's a good thing I planned to save some work for today, or I'd never make it till 3:45. 'Round here, we work 9hr days Monday through Thursday, then we work 8hrs on the first Friday, and get off on the second Friday - it all adds up to 40hs a week in the end, and lets us have a 3-day weekend every other week. It's pretty sweet. Checked my account balance the other day (PayDay), and it seemed a bit lower than I'd expected. *snarg* Course, it is a rather nice sum, and I do have a few weeks more that I'll be paid for (infact, I was thinking, and it may just be that my timing is off, and I'm getting paid at a slightly different interval than I accounted for).
I got a letter from Claire yesterday. ^^ That made me happy, yes. I'm going to see her on the 29th - just twenty-seven days away. ><* It seems so long, looking at a calandar (the hell do you spell that, anyways?) and seeing it on the other side of the month, but it IS less than 4 weeks away. How I miss her...
Uhm...hmmm...I lost my train of thought. I should never yawn when I'm writing, it ruins the whole process. ^^;;
It's really overcast today - if I didn't know better, I'd say it might rain. True to form, it'll prolly burn off before noon. OR, it'll hang around just long enough to blind me with the evening sun on my way home from work. That'd be just like it. *glares*
Yeah. Now I've completely lost what I was saying. 8:30, now. Mayhaps I'll end it here.
Update: You know what I hate (now I sound like Nancy... ^^)? I hate it when you go and take one of those myriad Online quizes and then they decide to move, or take the page down, or something, and you're left with that annoying little "x" just SITTING there on your journal. Yeah. I hate that. . . . Bye now. ^^;;
