Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

I just finished reading the seventh and final book of the Harry Potter series. A wonderful ending to a wonderful series. I was right about it, and so very wrong. it was everything I'd hoped and more. I've enjoyed this series more than any other that I've read in the last half dozen or so years at least, and I've enjoyed it far more than I ever thought I would.

Maybe some day I'll discuss what I think of the book (under an LJ-cut to be courteous), but for now suffice it to say that it rivals The Older of the Phoenix as my favorite book in the series.

Now, I sleep.

Deathly Hallows is a nice cap to the "How To Combat Fascism" subplot and culminates the overt political commentary dimensions of Goblet, Order, and Prince. I like that angle of it a lot.
