I was on the phone with mom this afternoon, checking up on some things that may have ended up back home, when apparently my little sister Becky was caught not doing her work. My mom then said something to the effect of, "bring down here and do it at the kitchen, now, or no Heroes, I mean it," in exactly the tone you'd expect something like, "do your homework or I'm taking the car away." It was great.

Well, Becca can't drive yet. I assure you, in--what is it, 8 years?--there'll be the standard "Yadda-yadda or I'll take the car away," and/or "Yadda-yadda or you're not going out with your friends tonight," threats.

Well, necessarily. Especially Becky -- I can see Beth growing up to be a little book-wormy, but Becky's got social-butterfly written all over her. I was just saying, I find it amusing that Heroes has that kind of weight back home. ^_^
