Happy Tonight

So, without gushing too much, I'm happy.
Maybe a little prematurely, but...

This morning, one of the sites I'm on matched me with a girl, Ashley. We over the course of the day, despite the fact that she apparently wasn't home most of the day and it's taken me a week or more in other cases, we got through the whole 'guided communication' bit to open communication.

And, well, put simply, the connection I feel with her is so oh-my-wow in a way that I haven't felt in a very long time that I can't help be almost giddy. Like, really; contrary to popular belief I don't just sit at home giggling to myself, but I think I just might tonight.

She's a pretty girl, from the single small photo I can see, and she's nice and she's Catholic and she wants kids and she wants to be a mom and these aren't things that I think are necessary for everyone but they're right for me, and she's from a largish family and wants a largish family and as you can tell I'm rambling.

And I'm just happy.
If nothing else, having met her is really encouraging.
Though I do hope there's something else.

We have to get together in the next few days and you have to tell me all about this. I'm thrilled for you, purely thrilled - even if it is premature, I don't care, because hope in itself is a wonderful thing.

(just because I know someone named Ashley, which isn’t a common name in my experience, who would generally fit this description, she isn’t from around here is she. Long shot I know, but I just though I’d ask. The Ashley I know is a petite blonde, oldest of seven I believe, and used to run track, but injured her knee)

-smiles- No, this Ashley is the middle of 5, a petite brunette from what I surmise, and lives in Idaho. And is really named Kira. Sort of. All things I plan to explain if I ever get to writing another entry, but...

Yes, please keep she and I (and Us) in your prayers. I've only known she exists for a little over a week now, but she does make me happy, we do have a lot in common, and I'm really kind of afraid of botching it (mostly because my track records for the last three years has been less-than-grand, and that lends fuel to the fear).
