She's here! She's here, she's here, she's here, she's here!
Well, OK, she's mostly here.

Annie arrived this afternoon; her case, hard drive, processor, disk drives, motherboard... Only two pieces didn't get here: her video card and her power supply, each being rather necessary to get here running. (Well, not so much the video card, but that's half of why I got her!)

I'm trying right now to restrain myself from getting inside her and piecing what I have together, mostly because I have other things I should be doing. As that's not enough on an excuse for me, I'm telling myself that I don't want to risk hurting her vitals when I instal her power supply, so after opening the case and getting a feel for it, I'm leaving everything else in the packaging.

The rest should arrive tomorrow.

I'll have her put together on Friday.

I'll transfer what I must from UnicronPrime (via neurosurgical-like processes) over the weekend.

And before Monday, she should be up and running at full! I hope.

I should really go do my homework.

And thus is why you will never have a romantic life. Your way too much a geek XP

No, I jest, even geeks can have romance. I dare say they can have the best romances becuase all of them go through advanced relationships every year, or when ever the new upgrades come out XP

Yesh, I'm enjoying poking at this. I'll stop before I get hurt painfully when you come to visit.

*chuckles*

Point one: you can't be too much of a geek, you can only be too-little of anything else. And it can be proved (mathematically), that I am not 'too-little' of anything else.

Point two: what Annie and I have is not a romance; with rare exception does romance involve surgery. Nor is this a yearly thing; UnicronPrime is herself nearly four years old, and she had been Unicron long before that. In essence, she's the same computer I bought when I first got my job.

Point three: too late.

Hee Hee Hee. I’m sorry, but I just have to laugh at you about this. ( Well, actually, I’m not really laughing at you. I’m laughing with you. You just don’t happen to be laughing with me. ;))

Andrew, you are obsessed, but I think maybe you already knew that. I congratulate you on your restraint in not getting your hands into her before the rest of her is there.

*laughs again* Hee Hee Hee
