Coming Up for Air

Well, as ever, being out on break pretty much killed my usual persistent presence online. And I keep meaning to give an update on how my vacation went, but I keep not getting to it. Highlights:
I love my cousins. Some of them are becoming real people now, and it's fascinating.
It was great to see my brothers again. We didn't have nearly enough brother0moments (things that would get 'Brothers Three' tags), but it was awesome. Four of the five of us drafted two boxes of Magic cards.
My nieces and nephews are getting really big! Stephanie is frighteningly aware sometimes, which is something coming from a guy who expects more than most from kids.
I saw nearly all of my past romantic interests in two weeks. It was really cool, and really good for me, too.
I saw my very good friends all in one place, and had two of them stay the night.
I saw more of Louis in two days than in the whole of the last two years (well, OK, that might be a slight exaggeration; it wasn't quite two days).
I love my cousins.
But, the real reason that I got on here: my friend Megan (Jasmydae, not ElwenLassriel, who is in fact 'Meghan') was talking to me about musics and stuff tonight and noted that Frou Frou did a version of 'Holding Out for a Hero' on the Shrek 2 soundtrack, to which I noted that I loved the song (and have ever since it being in both 'Short Circuit' and 'Who's Harry Crumb?'), and that I kept meaning to see if I could find the version that's actually played in the movie -- to which she noted that it's done by Jennifer Saunders (reasonably so, as she's the Fairy Godmother) and showed me where to get it.
So, yes, love and cookies to Megan. And bed to me; classes start tomorrow, and I really don't want to go.
