My class schedual for next semester, starting on Monday Janurary 12th, is as follows:
Monday
11:10-12:00
Metaphysics (PHIL 305, McCort 114)
12:10-13:00
Reasoning and Argumentation (PHIL 301, McMahon 13)
Tuesday
13:35-14:50
Creative Writing: Fiction (ENG 301, Marist 207)
17:10-19:40
Design and Analysis of Algorithms (CSC 311, Pangborn G3)
Wednesday
11:10-12:00
Metaphysics (PHIL 305, McCort 114)
12:10-13:00
Reasoning and Argumentation (PHIL 301, McMahon 13)
Thursday
13:35-14:50
Creative Writing: Fiction (ENG 301, Marist 207)
Friday
11:10-12:00
Metaphysics (PHIL 305, McCort 114)
12:10-13:00
Reasoning and Argumentation (PHIL 301, McMahon 13)
17:10-19:40
Data Base Management (CSC 641, Pangborn 204)
So, yeah, I added the Data Base class to my schedule for a fifth class (pulling me from 12 credits to 15). Thursdays are gonna be a little more lax and Fridays a little more tight -- but at least I can come back from that class and know I have only the weekend to look forward to. I hate night classes (at least for Undergrad), and Friday Night classes are the worst.
I would be taking more CSC classes, but they aren't offereing any others. I wanted to take C++ Programming, but they decided not to list it -- even though EVERY Computer Science Junior (all four of us!) wanted to take it! Bastardos. I'm kinda looking forward to my creative writing course, maybe, if only to get me writing more. I'm afraid, though, that it'll be too much of the stuff that kept me from being an Enlish Major in the first place. And 11:00 to 13:00 every Monday/Wednesday/Friday will now be known as PhyLo Hour, to go along with Rush Hour and Happy Hour. I hope I can hack the insane writing I get a feeling I'll need to be doing.
Wow is Thursday gonna be a slack day...

Comes in like a lion, leaves like a lamb... >.< That right there is 18 credits, so far everyone but a crazy army guy has told me that I'm insane.... Oh and now, I have to walk across campus after dark, at nine o clock at night, and my schedual is STILL spread out over the course of the day! :-p Oh Oh Oh and! and! I have a job to juggle.... How the heck did you survive to be a junior? o.O *giggles* chin up, creative writting is the BEST class EVER if you have a good teacher. Yes you have to write obcene amounts of stuff, but there is no wrong answer... just poor writting style. ^_^ You'll do fine... though condolences on the craptacular friday night class.... (why did you volunteer for it again?) Yeah, I'm bored and looking over entries I didnt add my two cents to, and this seemed like a good kill of 10 minutes.... hope it was amusing. :-p Pppppppeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaacccccccccceeeeeee
As though I didn't already think I was a slacker...
Date: 2003-12-23 04:24 am (UTC)Damn that's a hell of a Monday. I mean, as thought the damnable things weren't bad enough, you're gonna be in class from 10am until 9pm!
I'm hoping my Creative Writing course will be good, and I've liked all the Philosophy courses I've taken before. As for why I took the Friday Night... -shrugs- Peer Pressure. Everyone was like "You're only taking 12 Credits?" and all the other CompSci Juniors are taking Databases... Plus, I rather enjoy the things in a weird sort of way, so...
