I prefer the new one with the guy from "Wings" in it. Is more like the book than the on with Jack Nicholson.

the new one has a lot of good points (and some damn cheesy points). i saw both and liked them both pretty much the same, with some scenes in the old being much better and some scenes in the new being much better.

even split, i'd say.
