the new one has a lot of good points (and some damn cheesy points). i saw both and liked them both pretty much the same, with some scenes in the old being much better and some scenes in the new being much better.
Aw, the old one ain't shit...'cept for the REDRUM bit, of course...but I can imagine that you, who was terrified by "What Lies Beneath", would be pretty scared. ::grins::
