So, at work, I've been given a couple of "hot-potatoe" projects, basically a
couple tasks that fell by the wayside and now need some hussle to play catch
up and "Fix things." Fun fun. One of the projects is pretty simple, pretty
low-stress, and just needs a warm body to move it along. The other is a bit
higher-profile, and I've been put on it with a more-senior guy (ie, someone
who's been here on the order of years instead of months).

Unfortunately, said more-senior guy has been more-or-less absentee for the
last couple of weeks, and we're trying to get a pretty high-gear meeting
with our clients set up for next week. What this means is that I've been
put in as a junior member on this team, but if I don't coordinate the emails
and make sure everyone has the information they need, it isn't happening.
Lots of interactiong with people, figuring out what we're doing, and when,
and letting people know what's what and why.

And you know what? I love it. I'm terribly thrilled by the whole
thing, and I just get so charged with the managment aspect of it all. I'm
riding high right now on just such an exchange, and it's simply grand.

I think that THIS is
very awesome.
That is all.
