A swing and a miss.

So, I just asked Annie on a date, couched in celebrating the fact that my bid for having a house by Christmas is looking good. (Did I mention that, by the way? If the sellers accept -- and I'll know by Saturday night -- then we'll be closing mid-December.)

Unfortunately she's already got plans with some college friends of hers that are coming into town. Oh well, another time I guess.

I'm utterly exhausted now. I'm a very social sort of guy, but getting up the nerve to put myself out there like that always takes a lot out of me.
