I get paid this Friday, and it couldn't be times any closer.
I am more broke today than I have been since I turned 17 and got my first job.
(Well, OK, since slightly after that, when I'd saved up a couple paychecks.)

The good news is I get paid tomorrow.
The bad news is they still have me listed at my old position at NPS.
I'm going to be missing 1/3 to 1/2 of what I should be getting.

No big deal, so long as they get it correct and get my backpay to me.
I'm going to talk to HR and payroll tomorrow.

I haven't had the time or energy these last few weeks to read much net.news, let alone post about it, but I'm always glad to hear that The RIAA is floundering. In short, judges and lawyers are starting to put up roadblocks against the RIAA's subpoenas, including finally calling into question the validity of the RIAA's "identification" methods. If the courts start showing some technical saavy and understanding, I'll be very happy.
