Sickness and Death
May. 26th, 2004 09:09 pmFirst the sad news, to get it out of the way.
We just got word late last night that one of my sister's best friends died of an aneurysm.
She's five years old.
In other news, I went to the doctor's today for the first time in... well, a couple years at least. i don't get sick often. They sat me down, stared at me for a couple hours, then said I was sick and that I should see a doctor. The bill should be in the mail.
( OK, it wasn't QUITE like that... )
So, that was my day in a nutshell. Half an hour and I need to get to bed, so I can be in for work tomorrow. they're having me set up a new UserAccount, and i'm gonna train the guy on our IT stuff when he starts on Tuesday. he's another intern, so it shouldn't be too hard, I think. I already know most of what I'm doing anyhow, and Roman's going to 'supervise' (read: make sure I don't screw up). The people there are great; it's just the 120min commute that's hell.
Anyways, I'm off.
