Work Again

Whee fun.
Sitting here at work again.
Hopefully my boss with show up today, so that (a)I can get some more to work on, and (b)he can sign my time sheet and I can get paid.

Usually on Thursdays, I work from 8:00-11:30 then go back for class, and finish back here from 3:30-6:00. Today my class is canceled, though, so I'm gonna see if I can stick it out here until 2:00 and get my day off in one shot. If my boss doesn't show up before I leave... Wow, it's gonna be nearly a month since the last time I saw him! In some states, that would declare him legally dead. Or something.

Taking a cue from Tuesday, I came prepared for hunger today -- I brought cereal! And not just some cereal, I brought the whole box of cereal in my bag. I also bought a Ginger Ale from down the hall. I like ginger ale, but it doesn't have caffeine. The only thing left down there that does have caffeine is Pepsi, which I still think it far too sweet.

Feeling kind of useless as a friend, lately. Or something. Nothing big, I just feel like I've been really absent from LiveJournal, in particular, and I haven't been around for my friends. And when I have, I don't think I've been effective; I think I've made things worse.

Managed to get my Roomie, Zack, onto LJ. Anastasiya, the only other person here who knows Zack, has already found him. Most likely, of course, because he told her. -grins-

Saw Miss Becky Croft online again last night, and she said that they were gonna be pretty non-busy after about the 18th, so if I wanted to visit, that'd be the time. We made plans for me to go down and have dinner with them on that Saturday -- and Becky's gonna cook. -grins- This makes me happy, cause I getta see Becky, and Emily's gonna be home, and food and such and stuff.

And today's Random love goes to my dear cousin Meredith, who is both cool and Rachel's sister. -laughs- She needs to use that Journal of hers more often, both for making comments and for posting. And she needs to IM me more often, too. *nods to this*

Change is Good

Whee.
My boss came in, and I got him to sign my sheet. So now I'm going to get paid. Which is good. It looks like it's going to about double my Savings, too. Though, I'm still several thousand dollars short of what I need for tuition next year, and I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to catch that up very much at all...

^_^;;  Still waiting to hear back from Suzannah, though, after taking two weeks to write my own reply, I guess I shouldn't get too antsy.

Note to myself: I have to go through my list of friends and fix all the color schemes. Boo looks like Dawn looks like Tatsu, Austin looks like Asya, and Zack looks like Mike, plus any others I've missed...

If anyone out there has a suggestion for their two-color combination, I'm open to suggestions.
