All in a Night

Well, let's see...

Dad came over and helped me ouit with this ONI application - I need to get it all together and sent out preferably before Thursday. Also got my Absentee Ballot sent off. Then I managed to convince Meg to go for a Drive with me so I could deposit my pay check - I now have almost $300 in the bank, now. Whee. But she and I talked, and it was cool. She had these awsome boots and a really neat Jacket.

Came back here and chatted a bit with Nifer, who'd just finished a story. It was really kinda good - I liked it because it was a mundane scene with deceptively deep undertones. She says she doesnt like stories with outside action - doesn't like focussing on the obvious. In alotta ways, it's her writing that really inspires me to try my hand at it, even if only for short stories and the like. (The links are my favorites. So many reasons I could name why I like her work.) As a closing note, I'd just like t'say I really rather like the girl. ^_^;; We're as far removed, fundamentally, as any of my friends, but I like her.

And now, perhaps, I sleep.

Let's see, today's been...interesting.
Got up and dragged myself around my morning routine. Tried to think and failed, then trudged over to Philosophy where it became apparent that my class generally agrees that Society is natural for human beings. Durring our intermission, however, it was heard that a water main had broken, and all classes after 11:00 were cancelled. Whee.

Rachel - Clerks! We have to see Clerks. Actually, Clerks, Dogma, and JSBSB are the only Kevin Smith Movies I haven't seen yet (though, I suppose that just means I've seen Mallrats and Chasing Amy, doesn't it?) Maybe we should go out one night and rent ALL the KS movies and just have a Jersey-Binge night or something. ^_^;; With enough chips and soda, that could be really cool. :p
