Rachel - Clerks! We have to see Clerks. Actually, Clerks, Dogma, and JSBSB are the only Kevin Smith Movies I haven't seen yet (though, I suppose that just means I've seen Mallrats and Chasing Amy, doesn't it?) Maybe we should go out one night and rent ALL the KS movies and just have a Jersey-Binge night or something. ^_^;; With enough chips and soda, that could be really cool. :p

Anyways, on with my post....
I slept quite a bit today - a Water Main broke here, and so everything closed down. Since I had no classes, and no Offices were open, and no one was Online, I slept for a few hours until about 6:00. I got up and trudged through the (not-quite-pouring-enough) rain to South (that's all the way across campus, people) to get some food. This was planned, of coursew, cause my friend Becky was helping sell "Scare-Grams" (candy packs that they're going to deliver on Thursday), and she got me to promise her I'd buy some. I always was a fool for a pair of pretty eyes. So I got there and bought 5, and marked off 5 girls (including Becky herself) to have them delivered to. Three of those I sent anonymously. I'm such a weirdo. But I also got put in a raffel to - get this, win a date with one of the sorority pledges. Whoo hoo. What that basically means is I will the honor of their company for an evening. Becky says she'll kill me if I don't choose her. ^_^;;

Anyways, I got some Pizza for dinner, and a salad, and sat down in South - the front, cause the back was closed. I don't like the front of south - too open or something, I just don't like it. Anyways, Amanda was going by - on her way upstairs to set up a Haunted House - and she stopped t'chat. I mentioned that I'd seen she was going on the Retreart, and she was happy to hear I was going, too. She was really excited about the whole thing, and she's confident it'll be really cool.

Anyways, I trekked back to my room. I kinda futz around for a bit, chatted with Claire a bit (she was busy with schoolwork) and got to talk with Rachel and Meredith - two of my three favorite Cousins. ^_^ Rachel was showing me Some Pictures from the play she's working with (This is Tolkien, people - you might be interested in taking a look. The Backstage stuff was cool, too). I would so kill to see this production in person. It looks like it could be REALLY cool. Mere was doing whatever it is 13 year old girls do online, and we chatted about how her science project was falling apart, and how everything she's learning in 8th Grade Science is wrong. Then she ran of to talk with Kate (my other favorite cousin).

A bit afterwards, I got to talking with Sara, and the conversation was just kinda meandering until she said, kinda jokingly, "Hey, you could always go out with [my little sister] Amanda." To which I responded "Well, she was always kinda cute, but I don't think she'd be my type." To which Sara shot back "Why not? I think you'd be her type." Which, needless to say, was kinda a boost to my ego. I'm not sure what I meant - I can't say "She's too strong willed" cause if you look at ANY of the other girls I've ever been interested in, they ALL have rather strong wills. ^_^;; Anyways, it was weird, talking about a girl, who I haven't seen for several years, with her older sister. But I donno that she'd ever be interested in re-meeting me...
Not that that stopped me from going to UNC.edu and looking her up in the directory or anything....

Ah yes, Clerks the Cartoon. ^_^ Do you know, it's that which got me into Kevin Smith in the first place? My first experience with Jay and Silent Bob (and coincidentally Dante and Handle) was those [really] weird cartoon episodes. Firecrackers, indeed.

Dude, the cartoon ROCKS. They're working on a Clerks Cartoon Movie, y'know? That thing's gonna kick so much ass, if they make it anything like the cartoon itself.

I have seen Dogma, JSBSB, and yeah... that's it. :-) So I need to see all the ones you've seen, and you need to see the one's I've seen, and we both have to see some and... yeah. :-)
