OK, so I didn't want to get up this morning, but that's just cause I was still tired, not cause I was feeling cruddy. Trevor and I had Rose, Jack, and Brooklyn come visit lant night, and we had some pizza and talked and stuff. It was really cool, and Jack, Brookie and I had a grand conversation (about what I can't remember). Sadly, I fear Trevor and Rose may be hitting a rough patch. seems to me that, no fault meant on either of them, Rose is a bit too emotional and Trevor's a bit too insensitive. Anyways, though, after our three gests left, Trevor and I watched "Tomarrow Never Dies" which was a decent movie, and you gotta see stuff blow up, but... While it was good, it wasn't great, and I'd rather put it somewhere just below "Rush Hour," as the Chinese Agent Girl reminded me alot of Jackie Chan, and it had odd bits of humor.
I also got to chat with Ms. Emily Croft last night, too, which was cool. I never did get around to calling Oli or Stephanie yesterday, so I'm hoping to do it today sometime.
This morning I had a Philosophy test, which wasn't anything real big. It had 5 short-answer and 1 Essay, and it took me about 45min to complete (out of a maximum of 75min). He asked us to Double-space our answers in the BlueBooks, but I kinda forgot on a couple of questions. ^^;;
We also got back a quiz and our Papers in that class. I got 100% on the Quiz, and a B on the Paper, so that was really cool. I like how he dopes his comments, too - red ink for grammar, blue ink for content. It makes it easier, I think, to see what he's saying.
I had lunch t'day with Becky, Meg, Raul, and Kevin, so that was cool. We chatted about stuff, and then this girl, Kerrie (or is it Carrie? Karrie?) came over to say hi to Becky and Meg.
I'd met Karrie just recently - first when having dinner with Jim, then she sat next to me at the Pat Fagan talk, and it turns out she lives here in flather, so I see her around the halls from time to time. She saw me there at lunch, and asked me to come visit her room some time, so that made me kinda happy. (Kinda, he says...)
Most everyone left a lil later, and Becky and I sat and talked a bit. She's going out with this guy, and she's rather over it now, but she doesn't want to break up with him cause she doesn't want to hurt him, y'know? But she had to get off to Class, so I wandered back to my room, and now I'm just killing time before my Lit Class. I'm either going to take a nsap, or go over the reading we had for today again But all in all today's going good.
And now for today's Poll. Lj-cuts, friend or fiend? First off, they conserve space on Friend Pages. They hide large Pictures to speed up load time and, when used in multiples, can divide a given post into sections. On the other hand, text alone doesn't take much time at all to load, but having to click a Cut-link and wait for a new page to load might discourage readers from actually looking behind the Cut.
So, I want to know your opinion. When is it good to use Cuts? Is their Artistic value worth anything? Should all long entries be Cut, or are there cases when posts should remain unCut? inane, I know, but I gotta be me. Let your voice be heard. (Or, uhm, seen. Whatever.)
