This Morning
Oct. 7th, 2002 12:15 pmHmmmm, let's see. I got up and didn't want to be awake. ><*
I'd gotten to bed last night between 1:30 and 2:00, as is typical, and got up at 9:00, again typical. But I just didn't want to be concious. I managed to drag myself out of bed on the hope of getting my test back in Discrete and with the mission to get some Financial stuff fixed up with Administration.
Sadly, we didn't get the Test back and, though it seems like they're trying, I don't think the financial stuff is fixed yet. I was then going to get lunch, but realized I'd left my wallet - containing my meal card - in my room. So I went back there and grabbed it and ate with Jack and Matt. THEN I went to the RHO (Resident Housing Office) because the access card they gave me for my building doesn't work, and so I've rather been relying on circumstances to get into my hall. There's a $15 charge, but as they gave me a faulty card, I don't expect to pay it. the girl in the office was nice, and said her boss was comming in this afternoon and they'd see what they can do about it. She gave me a temporary card but, get this, it's not working, either. Actually, it's working better than the one I had - it lights up the thing, but it won't open the door, meaning the access is prolly just messed up. I'm going to try it again in a lil bit and see what's up - maybe head back to the RHO again.
For further adventures today, I plan on Calling work to see about my hours (though they're closed on mondays, so I donno), calling the Hospital to finally schedual that eye exam, and then call Oli and Stephanie and see what's up. I'm a bit scared to call Oli cause she doesn't actually have her own phone (it's a phone in the common area) and I'm afraid to call Stephanie cause I don't actually have her number - I have her home number, but she's at college. So, yeah, I'm just lined up for a whole DAY of fun, fun, fun! Whee.
And I have a test in Assembly t'night. Shouldn't be hard, but it's the cherry on top of this heap.
