Spring Forward
Apr. 7th, 2002 12:17 amI hate Daylight Savings time. It was fine back when there were farmers who needed the daylight to function. Now we don't need it. I say abolish the thing.
I got up this morning at 10:25. That's bad, because my alrm was set for 9:45 (PM, I later learned), and I had to be at work at 10:30. At that, I didn't want to get up - I so wanted to roll over and tell them I was sick, or my aunt was sick, or my dog died, or something. But, I didn't. I had a commitment and all that. On the way over I hurt my foot and, limping a bit, wanted to turn back on the grounds of injury. It was 10:40 when I go there, and I learned I was supposed to be there at 10:00, not 10:30. Way to start the day, Andrew.
( Oh, it gets better )
