I hate Daylight Savings time. It was fine back when there were farmers who needed the daylight to function. Now we don't need it. I say abolish the thing.

I got up this morning at 10:25. That's bad, because my alrm was set for 9:45 (PM, I later learned), and I had to be at work at 10:30. At that, I didn't want to get up - I so wanted to roll over and tell them I was sick, or my aunt was sick, or my dog died, or something. But, I didn't. I had a commitment and all that. On the way over I hurt my foot and, limping a bit, wanted to turn back on the grounds of injury. It was 10:40 when I go there, and I learned I was supposed to be there at 10:00, not 10:30. Way to start the day, Andrew.

Work was OK. A guy came buy, who kinda looked like an Old elementary school buddy of mine - Ephraim Rogers. But this guy was clean shaven (Ephraim wasn't last I checked), and Ephraim's feet weren't that small, were they? He had the glasses, yeah, but thig guy looked too young to be Ephraim. The a girl came up next to him. It looked oddly like his youngest sister, if she had grown in the 5 years I hadn't seen them. 'Maybe it is Ephraim', I thought.

When I said 'Hey, Ephraim' and he turned around, I was convinced. ^^;; After 8th grade graduation, I lost track of him, cause he went to highschool in Sufolk, and later moved to Deleware. He's now newly 21 (he was always older than us, but had slipped a few grades before 6th) and has been a few years in the Army (I can forgive him that). He wants to get some years of college under his belt, and hopes to soon start a family (within a couple years). It was great catching up with him, and he gave me his e-mail address. I gotta write him sometime. ><*

After work I ran home and took a quick shower, changed, and ran out to the Metro. I was playing Coat-Check boy for my gramma at a Knights of Columbus thingy. Grabbed some McDonald's for dinner (I will say, they can still do a decent Quarter Pounder w/Cheese - or North Dining Hall has lowwered my standards...), and then began the coat checking.

In the words of an old friend of mine, Haposai, "What a haul!!" In the span of 4 hours, I made $46.95 - that's over $10 an hour! It was well worth my time. I can have Chinese food this week!

And, as a final note, I may see Claire this next comming weekend...cross your collective fingers, my friends. ^^

Haposai eh? :P ...

Reminds me of when I saw a guy at my school who looked remarkebly like a friend of mine in kindergarden. He saw me and was like "Hey! I know you! Remember me? We went to kindergarden together!" I was surprised he remembered me. We did the old How are you? That's good, nice seeing you, have a lovely life deal but it was shibby to see him ^_^... Oh my fingers are crossed all right, and I have a surprise for you too ^^ ...
