Let's see, let's see, let's see.
First off, I'm psyched. MagicTheGathering.com has been having some "You pick Eigth Edition" stuff running for a few months. For those of you who don't know, Magic is a Card game I've been playing for some 6 or 7 years now. Eigth Edition is the next printing of the set, and they've been letting us have a little say in what goes in with a number of polls and stuff.
One such choice we had was for flavor text, which is little text on the bottom of some cards that just give interesting flavor to the world of Magic. To do so, they had several cards which needed new text, and had US supply them with a few lines.
I supplied them with text for this card:

and it got in as one of the top ten, after being sorted by the WotC staff. Meaning it's being voted on! Wheeeee! I'm so psyched! It'd be so flipping awsome if mine got on the card!
If you're interested, you can go Here, mines the first choice on the Aladdin's Ring poll.

Hmmmm, in further news, I got out of my room the other night. My friend, Meghan, asked if I'd eaten, and when I said I had, but why anyways, she said she wanted someone t'go to the Ratt with her to get some food. I said "Well, it's not really my thing. Want me to come anyways?" cause I just want to get OUT of this room, and so I met her outside of CV. We went over and she got some food, and we chatted and stuff, and it was just cool. ^__^

I can't remember much else that I've done t'day... I think I ate lunch by my lonesome... yes, I did, at South. But I had Dinner at North with Meg and Raul, and went to Sleven (7-11 for most of you) with Becky.

Oh yeah! At Dinner, Raul introduced us to his friend, Samwise Rudy Brian (I think), who (needless to say?) looks just like [that actor, who's name I honestly can't remember]. Yeah, it was pretty cool, and I thought the ladies out there might appreciate it. Ha, it was so cool - Raul DOES call him Samwise, and he's cool with it (if quite unshaved).

I suppose, really, that's that...maybe I should read some for Lit...

Oh, yes. Thanks to Kincaid, I've been introduced to the word "floog," which seems to mean art which is not. That is, company logos and jingles, ads and typestetting, and everything else that's nessisary to support a "market culture."

Personally, I just like the sound of "floog," and it's nice to have a word that differentiates between art and not-art. So, yeah, I'm also shamelessly trying to spread the word.
