So, yeah, today we pretty cool.
Had class this morning, and then work from 12:00 til 5:00. Got a paycheck, too - another $100 in the bank. I also checked my Credit Balance and saw that it'd cleared. Now just to get those computer parts.... After work I got together with Louis. He came and fixed my DVD player, then we hung out and talked and stuff - bumped into Katie L., who we've both known from Elementry, and he'd gone to High School with her. Then we watched a movie called 'Donnie Darco' which, simple put, was great. It was really, really creapy, in a way, but also kinda deep, and.... it was really kinda cool. I suggest you all find it and watch it - just, not alone.
Driving him home was pretty cool. I was in that Oldsmobile thingy, and going down Georgia this sleek-looking black car comes up on us like he wants to pass me - and at high velocity. ::Grins:: Oh how I DO so love a challenge, heh heh heh.
The dude had a NICE car, especially compared to me, but I met him inch for ince the whole way - he thought he could smoke me, HA! And THEN, he got in a lane behind some guy turning - EAT THAT! Ah, it was such a rush, I felt wonderful! I haven't had an experience like that in quite some time. It was magnificent.
And I suppose that's it, aside from the Chinese Food that was two hours late and is curently resting as a lead chunk at the bottom of my stomach. Woog... ><*
So, I shall leave you with this:
The Lonely Snowman (by Lim-Dul)
The Lonely Snowman, standing in the wind.
Never will he see his friends again.
The birds have flown south, gone too is the Hare.
It may be snowing, but he doesnt care.
He misses his pals, the Crow and the Wren.
But chances of seeing them are looking quite thin.
He'd talk to fox, but he's run away.
He hopes to see him some other day.
But when the fox returns, so too will the sun.
And that will ruin all of his fun.
For with sun, comes the heat.
He knows that his fate is somthing he'll meet.
So my friends, things are looking pretty grim.
I take it by now you feel sorry for him.
But he wont give up, there is still hope indeed.
Soon his creator will return, hopfully with speed.
The boy went to a restaurant and now he is fed.
But when gets home, he goes straight to bed.
Is it getting late, and he cannot play.
Tommorow is, yet another school day.
So the snowman waits, and he waits some more.
But the he never sees the boy, run out the front door.
The boy is too busy or its too cold to go out.
But the snowman sits, without a doubt.
He knows that his friend, his pal, the boy
Will someday run out, and yell, "Ahoy!"
But the boy never comes, and spring draws near.
Soon the fox and the sun will be here.
The flowers will bloom, and the birds will sing.
But The Lonely Snowman, can only dream of one thing.
For him and the boy, to play one more time.
Before the sun, comes out to shine.
Well, one day after school, the boy runs inside.
The snowman can see, that the boy has cried.
Apparently the boy, had a rough day at school.
As we all know, kids can be so cruel.
Crying on his bed, sat little Tim,
So the snowman went in, to comfort him.
Together at last, the snowman and his friend.
But here is where our story draws to an end.
The boy perked up, and gave his snowman a cuddle,
but soon The Lonely Snowman, was only a puddle.
So take this as a warning, and whenever you can,
Go say hello, to your local snowman.
For despite the rain of April, and the heat of June
The winter can be bad for a snowman, as goes the tune.
So play with your snow creature, just do what you can,
But keep in your mind, the story of the Lonely Snow Man.

I used to buld one every year. I'd go outside in the freezing cold and spend hours on building one that looked just right. Then, one year, a group of teenage boys came along and kicked my snowman down. I saw them do this - they lauged the whole time - and cried my eyes out.
After they were done, I went outside and gathered up the gloves and hat and came back inside. It was the last year I built a snowman. I thought... if all that's going to happen is I'm going to get my heart broken by some teenage punks who have nothing better to do... then why build one at all?
