There Is No Spoon

Today is my last day at work. We fly out early t'marrow morning (did mom say five?) and I figured that if I could squeek in another $90 on my pay check, that'd be handy.
There are gummi bears chewing on my brain!
That's nothing to do, here. Fist off, my boss is hesitant to give me anything to work on since, you know, this is my last day, and giving me a new project is rather counter-intuitive. Secondly, I have to get "checked out," which involves getting signatures from Umpteen different people saying that yes, I don't have the stuff I was never given. Of course, due to complications, I can't get but three of those signatures, and those are the last three to be gotten. And then, I don't know where this paper is to go (seeing as it's very likely my boss will be gone before all this has occured).
Forgot me book at home, too. I finished Myth Directions and started on the first couple of chapters in Hit or Myth, but that's back home with all my packed stuff. Read a couple of old letters from Claire, and that made me happy. ^^;; Yeah, newsflash, I kinda miss her.

I'm trying to stall for time. See, if I sit here typing, then I have something occupying me, right? No one's on AIM, no mail graces my inbox, and even LJ's been a bit quiet of late (well, for me, anyhow). Sadly, this whole thing has thus far only taken me about 15min to write.
I'm still feeling a bit sick from yesterday. I have a headache, and a cough, and a not-quite-sore throat. I'm thinking I want to go take a nice long nap when I get home this evening. That'll be nice. Only another...five and a half hours left... *cries*
