In brighter news, I just got a copy of my final offer for my job in DC and, based on what my scholarship gives me as a stipend, I'm getting more than a 100% pay raise when I graduate. I'd be embarrassed to put numbers to any of this, a significant part of me still feels like there are those who deserve this more than I do, and people who deserve better than what they have. But I'll tell you what, it's a nice thing to look forward to.

Really? Either you have a big stipend or you are selling yourself short! I am looking at a 500-1000% increase when I graduate! I'll probably still live poorly though, its humbling.
