Coming up for air.

So, I haven't been around for, wow, quite some time now. At least by my reckoning: how long a few weeks seems to you people is purely subjective. I owe my blog (and my loyal readers) an update on what's happened since I left my apartment in Virginia, but I don't think I'll get to that just yet.
Right now I'm sitting in the middle, quite literally, of my own accumulated detritus of life. It very much looks like a tornado hit my little room, with the only vaguely-orderly-looking items being my computer (yay, Annie) and the sleeping bag setup that passes for my bed right now. The rest is a chaotic swirl of clothes, Magic cards, official mail, junk mail, and schoolstuffs.
What I should be doing right now is cleaning that up a bit so that I can move my table/desk and futon/bed into here this coming week without risking personal harm or property damage. What I should really be doing is working on my Vulnerabilities homewhork, which I half-started this morning and is due Tuesday at 7am, or at least my Automata homework, which is due on Wednesday at 7am.
Instead what I *have* been doing (since stopping my half-starting) is reconstructing my Orzhov deck for M:tG so that it's at least laughably passable for the constructed tournament tonight that I said I wasn't going to but have since decided is probably a good idea after all. I'm sure there's a logical fallacy involved in that decision, but I can't for the life of me find it.
My fingers are cold, my back hurts, and I half-twisted my right leg walking home last night. This last would be more understandable if 'walking home' had consisted of anything more than the 40ft from the driveway to the front door.
So, there's your update for now. The things I haven't covered yet are: Moving out of Virginia; Christmas at Home; The Great Cross-Country Trek; On Being Homeless; and possibly a little bit on The Job Fair, if anyone's interested in that. I intend on getting to al of these, but... Well, you know what they say about good intentions.
Now, to bathe; perchance to eat.

Good to see you posting again. Not as good as it was to see you in the flesh the other day, but now I can feel your Intarrweb presence once more, and that's pretty comforting. ♥
