Made me smile as well. Not for my sake of course since I don't give a damn, but I can't tell you how many rants my boy has made about his phone. He has one of those newfangled mp3 playing phones and they won't let you upload your own mp3's, you have to buy them. But not the whole song, just part of it. And not the part you want, the part they want you to have. It took him several hours to figure out how to beat whatever it was they did to his phone.
Also, his phone is equipped with bluetooth. But doesn't support it. Samsung (I'm guessing, don't remember) installed the hardware, but verizon crippled the software that came with the phone for absolutely no reason, the only thing the bluetooth is now allowed to do is use a wireless headset.
And he paid $5 to get tetris. In this game, there is a 'shadow' feature which you aren't able to turn off. The shadow shows you exactly where the piece is about to land, which ruins the whole game! And you can't turn it off! He is constantly saying that he owns the phone, he should be able to use whatever software he wants, not verizon's software. He could write a better tetris program for his phone, but the phone won't allow him to.
Yeah, I had to listen to these rants alot. My phone makes phone calls and can send text messages so I'm happy. The phone call part is optional, so as long as the text messages work, I'll still be happy.
