Oldest Ritual Ever

I'm not sure, really, what the implications of This might be -- that there's evidence of 70,000-year old ritualistic behaviors in humans when it was believed we didn't have the capability earlier than 40,000 years ago -- but it's an interesting thing to think about. Lots of fun things to kick around one's brain while the hardware prototypes one is supposed to be testing a breaking left and right in the most frustrating ways.
