"Cohen, a devout Jew who keeps kosher and the Sabbath when possible, says he purposely made his character prejudiced." (Form Here.)
This makes me feel significantly better about Cohen, the man. Borat, the movie, is still not worth seeing in my opinion, all things considered.

About that...
Date: 2006-11-17 02:27 am (UTC)Nano's not going well at all. At the beginning of week 2 I lost all 7200 words I'd written when my flash drive crashed (and, being an idiot, that was the only copy I'd saved). I recovered back to 6700 in a couple of days, but then I had a bunch of work-type stuff involving a conference in DC, and haven't gotten anything else written since. I'm not quite giving up, but I've been less-than-motivated for over a week now, and the likelihood of me getting to 50,000 in two weeks is pretty slim. I'm afraid I'm dead in the water.
I'm not giving up, I do plan to write more, and I plan to keep up with this story in the long term, but... Yeah...
