Tired and wine-sleepy, but want to make a quick post.

Today was great.

Work went quickly. I got a call brom Amanda B. and we got time to chat. A few weeks ago (maybe aonly a week) she broke up with her boyfriend and was really down about it. Now she's doing a lot better, her birthday was yesterday (Sunday) and went very well, and it was just really good to hear she's happy. She also mentioned that she's really only 3hours away, so we might be planning a trip or something to see each other some time.

I also got a call from Olivia who I also might be seeing soon, either on November 14th or else sometime in December; it depends on my work schedule.

And this evening was spent with Leslie. We got some wine, 'cause we both like wine (though I'm getting the sinking suspision that I'm allergic *tear*) and went running before watching Heroes together with her brother. Leslie really likes the show, so I'm glad I piushed her to watch it. She's enamoured with Hiro, and even more so, I think, with Ando. I was very glad to see how Claire's character is playing out, I'm very happy to see all the connections being made, and I don't know what to think of Claire's dad.

Now it's time for bed. I have work in the morning and I don't want to hate it more than I have to.

Hiro, I want to foist Pocky and green tea on and just pet. A lot. Ando can have Pocky too, only he gets to come upstairs with me after he's done.

I liked what Claire's dad did. I like that he's gray now, instead of decidedly black like the first three shows were making him out to be. Ambiguity makes for so much more interesting villains.

Allergic to wine?? O___O What do you mean?

Well, everytime in the last whenever that i've had wine i've found thast my throat constricts, for lack of a better word. It doesn't make it hard to breath or anything, but it does make it uncomfortable. And so far as i'm aware i've never experienced anything like it.

I just noticed -- awesome icon.

Mmmn, that's no good. I wonder why that's happening? Have you tried looking it up online?

Hee, thanks. I didn't make it, unfortunately, but it was too cute to pass up when I saw it, so I asked the girl who made it if I could use it. :3

An unfortunate possibility.

Sulfites (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sulfite)

AUGH SULFITES. D:

That's probably exactly what it is. Damn. >___< Well, they do make red wine without sulfites, but they're exceedingly hard to find.

I may start ordering wine off of this website, or checking to see if any of our area Total Wines carry organic wine (which must, by law, be made without sulfites). Maybe that little wine house in Ghent carries some...I should find out. Because, really, I shouldn't be drinking the whorish sulfites either. They give headaches. :(

Just a little death.

I'll look into finding non-sulfite wine, but apparently it's something of a naturally-occurring element in most beers and wines. Frankly, I'll probably take my chances with it. A little death never hurt anyone.

Eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow we die of anaphylactic shock. ::grins:: But, yeah, wine - what a way to go! :3
