Stress, and this time it's not all in my head.
My advisor in Monterey is backing out on what he told me before I came East, and now says I can't take the classes I want and I have to take the courses I ought not be required to take. And I can't find the paperwork I'd had where he said elsewhere, so I'm SOL.
One of my friends implicitly wants me to be someone I'm not. I am who I am and I will be who I choose to become.
Another of my friends more-than-implied that our friendship is in the mercy of her boyfriend's whim, which makes me more angry than I can adequately express. in truth this point deserves it's own post, but I haven't the time nor vascular integrity to do so at the moment.
On a lighter note, I had a very nice weekend up in Ohio, where I met nice people, relaxed on a beautiful campus, and had slightly-less time than I wanted to contemplate certain things, but contemplated nonetheless. That also deserves it's own post, and as it would likely have the opposite effect on my blood-pressure as the preceding note, it's more likely to get proper treatment.

Date: 2006-09-06 02:12 pm (UTC)As for Ohio, no, I'm not moving there. My brother goes to school out there at a Catholic college full to the brim with fair-skinned, curly-haired Irish girls, and we all know how I feel about Irish girls.
