The door whined on it's hinges as I pushed it open. With the power out it was dark and hot inside. Sections of the false floor had been pulled up in places exposing metal struts and corded bundles of wires. The air smelled like rotting meat.

The door swung shut behind me and in the sudden gloom my flashlight seemed inadequate. There was a fleshy squyelching sound coming from one of the back offices, punctuated now and again by hollow cracking sounds.

I turned the corner around a blood-splattered cubical and there it was -- the zombie that ate my co-workers.

I agree that you are not taking this seriously enough. The Zombie Threat is very real, Andrew. Joking about it does a disservice to everyone by undermining the imminent danger. If a zombie ate your co-workers we're already looking at a Class 2, possibly a Class 3 outbreak. And no one wants that since I doubt you are prepared with the necessary materials to survive a full-blown zombie horde. I would recommend reading The Zombie Survival Handbook by Max Brooks. Then you will understand how terrifyingly real the situation is.

I've read the book. Honestly, it scared me. I had to put it down, away, as it were. Had to stop. This may be a life ending deciscion, but I had to take my chances.

In other news - I read your post and immediately thought "Thank God you found it - Did you offer it a sandwhich?"
By the way - they don't reply to offers of an indescent nature.

You obviously haven't seen my Most Recent Investiment (http://frixon.de/fun/zomby_emergency.jpg). I take this sort of thing very seriously.
