The door whined on it's hinges as I pushed it open. With the power out it was dark and hot inside. Sections of the false floor had been pulled up in places exposing metal struts and corded bundles of wires. The air smelled like rotting meat.

The door swung shut behind me and in the sudden gloom my flashlight seemed inadequate. There was a fleshy squyelching sound coming from one of the back offices, punctuated now and again by hollow cracking sounds.

I turned the corner around a blood-splattered cubical and there it was -- the zombie that ate my co-workers.

Zombies

"Well hello there," I said, puzzled. "You're early."
The zombie shrugged and looked self-concious. "I missed you. Besides, I was hungry."
I narrowed my eyes at it. "This is the third time this year! Do you KNOW how this is making my resume look?"
The zombie's eyes filled with tears. I looked away tactfully as its nose lost the battle with gravity and fell to the floor with a sodden splat, and sighed. "It's fine. Just don't do it again.""

I don't think you're taking this seriously enough.

It could be made into a video game. The sequal to "Zombies Ate My Neighbors." They could publish it on the Wii. 3D horror for the whole family.

I think you're the one not taking this seriously! I mean, this could be a great opportunity for a sweet, unusual romantic comedy starring Meg Ryan as the zombie, or maybe Zombie and Me, a heartwarming family drama about a very unique family pet.

I like the idea of Meg ryan as a flesh-eating zombie...
