Put your playlist on random and post the first line of the first 20 songs that come up. See if your friends can identify the songs and their artists (Google is cheating!).

OK, so, as I'm still moving my library from Unicron onto Annie, this isn't really all my music, but I like to think it's a representative sample.
I warn you -- my music tends to be both ecclectic and obscure.
(As this came out a bit 'weighted,' I may do another one once I really have my full library.)

01. "Attenuate the light of day so I can see the lines and details and not the hazy, plastic blur that floods my eyes till I can't see."
02. "Fragile, like a baby in your arms, be gentle with me; I’d never willingly do you harm." "A Question of Lust" by Depeche Mode [livejournal.com profile] surichan
03. "Won't you come see about me?" "Don't You (Forget About Me)" by Simple Minds [livejournal.com profile] quix
04. "I won't stand in your way; let your hatred grow." "Stockholm Syndrome" by Muse [livejournal.com profile] surichan
05. "Once upon a year gone by she saw herself give in."
06. "Nothing like this felt in her kiss; cannot resist her."
07. "If you could step into my head, tell me, would you still know me?"
08. "Hell is still overburdened; I must stand and wait in line." (Spoken words in the beginning skipped.)
09. "Well, the girl in the front row is leaving." "Fell" by School Of Fish [livejournal.com profile] surichan
10. "Breathing an air permeated, soaked in darkness, emanating from within, resonating like a scream no one can hear." (Spoken words skipped.)
11. "And here's to you, Mrs. Robinson, Jesus loves you more than you will know." (OK, yeah, but I DEFY you to guess who's singing it!) "Mrs. Robinson" by The Lemonheads [livejournal.com profile] quix
12. "Precious and fragile things need special handling." "Precious" by Depeche Mode [livejournal.com profile] mmeubiquitous
13. "Never again will I be dishonored, and never again will I be reminded of living within the world of the jaded!"
14. "Hush little baby, don't you cry, there's rearrangements ahead."
15. "A million faces, each a million lies for each and all a chrome disguise."
16. "As soon as you sound like him, give me a call."
17. "Everything about you is how I'd wanna be." "Bliss" by Muse [livejournal.com profile] surichan
18. "This train don't stop at the stations of the cross."
19. "I'm a paranoid schizophrenic with surround-sound speakers." "They're Everywhere" by Jim Infantino [livejournal.com profile] surichan
20. "No phone, no phone, I just want to be alone today." "No Phone" by Cake [livejournal.com profile] bsgnome

11) Mrs. Robinson - Lemonheads?

O.o
...
Yes, actually.

And I'll give you Number 3, even if I was listening to the version by Life of Agony.

::laughs:: I guess it is kinda unfair, considering the volume of music I've brought into your life. But hey - a lot of the stuff up there I didn't know, so it all evens out.

Hee hee. A decade of cross-contamination will do that.
Though, wonder of wonders, there are songs up there that I don't expect anyone to know! i'm actually hoping for a fluke and someone saying, "Hey, I KNOW that song," but I don't expect it to happen.
