*sigh* I'm in one of those moods where there's a lot of things that I'd like to do, but I'm not feeling very motivated at all to do much of anything. I blame this on the fac t that I haven't really eaten at all today; I got up around 11:00 and I've just been munching on Crispix (one of my favorite cereals) all day. I've wanted to go make some tea for a while now, but I just don't feel up to it. Had I thought about it, I probably would have gotten some food sooner and avoided this whole funk, but obviously I didn't.

Anyways. I was looking around the internet, which means I was searching for pizza places around here ('cause I don't really like Pizza Hut that much, and their people are no fun to deal with), but I was telling myself, "No, you have chicken-noodle soup in the cupboard. You can make do with that, and we'll go to Safeway after the DC trip." And I was OK with this; not happy, but OK. So I ate more Crispix and got some water, and then sat down to read a little Harry Potter -- only to find that I was at the Christmas feast section. So I caved and ordered a pepperoni pizza with cheasy bread, but I resisted ordering the 2 liters of Coke I wanted. And as it turns out, my food has arrived, so I think I may fire up some Firefly and enjoy my $20 dinner.

Well, I'm really bad with reading any Series. I love reading, but I'm bad at doing it consistantly, and my slow speed means I often forget what's happened earlier. Anyways, I once read the first book, and I remember strugling through the second, and I think I started the third... But that's as far as it ever got, and I didn't retain a whole heck of a lot of it. So I've re-started HP1, which I'm almost done with, and I just ordered HP2; hopefully, i'll have more luck with this go-around.

Have you read them?

yeah I blaxed through them this summer after the sixth one came out and my friends wouldn't shut up. I had a hard time with the first two because they were so like the movies, I felt like I was reading the movie. The third one was everyone else's favorite, but while it was different enough from the movie to be interesting, I didn't like it as much. I really liked the fourth one, like a lot. I liked the fourth movie but I think the book would be better if you read it before you see the movie. I think the books get so involved that they make the movies for the readers of the books, trying to squeeze as much in as they can, which leaves people who havn't read it a bit confused..

but yeah, they are good. The most annoying part is when you finish the sixth and you can't just keep picked em up anymore (I went cover to cover mostly). And they are easy to read.

Yeah, i'm told I'll really like Book 4, too, though I've already seen the movie. It didn't impress me all that much, the movie, but I'm still keeping open about the books -- in fact, I really disliked the second movie from what I remember, but I'm gonna see how the book really is.

Regardless, I like the ideas that she's playing with in these books, and I always like reading.
