Tonight, I'm feeling really good about myself.
I got a bunch of work done on my programming project. I got up and went to not-evening mass, and then out to Safeway to finally pick up some spices and vegitables, and more cheesesticks. I made tea for the first time in nearly a week (which here means 'a long enough time that I don't really remember'). I did a lot of biking. I worked on burning CDs for my trip down to grandma's (an effort I like to call 'Project Turkey Day.' And for dinner I made steak and mashed potatoes, and had a glass of wine.
And even though I under-did my steak a little bit and had to put it back in for a few minutes, and I tore up the cork for my new bottle of wine (which means I got cork *in* the wine, and had to use lastbottle's cork to close it), and my roomie is out Elsewhere which means I'm home alone (and 'alone' is generally not a good state for me to be in) -- despite that, I'm feeling pretty good.
So here's to being inexplicably content. *raises cup of tea* Cheers.
(The icon is a testament to how badly Paint forks as an Icon editor, but what're you gonna do?)
