So, let's try with a little bit of an actual update.

I made my second omlette today.

Significantly better off than my previous one, this one still seemed a little undone, and there was definitely too much cheese in it. I think the key to this art will be figuring out the temperamental nature of my electric stove, and not being afraid of burning the damned thing.

There's more to say, but I've unfortunately not had the time to say it today.

*smiles* I always burn my eggs a little bit. I like them that way. :-) You are getting better. ;)

Hey, that's the same dish pattern we use! lol

With a little less cheese, it will cook better in the middle. Do you use a lid when you cook these?

-laughs for moments-

Actually, no. I cook the egg rather like a pancake. Then, when it seems about right, I dump in the fillings (all I've had in the house so far is onions and mushrooms), add cheese, and them flip the hing onto itself. So, theoetically, it's already cooked before I add the cheese.

If you put a lid on it just for a minute or so after you fold it up, it might be less gooey in the middle. It's been a long time since I've made an omlette though so I may be mis-remembering. It's not quite like riding a bike ....

Yes. I imagine you fall off less.
