Little Mishaps

jackofallgeeksMiriam broke today. Her right pedal broke off because the crank arm was stripped. I called up The Guys at The Place What Made Her, and they're sending me over a replacement part, but it won't be here for nearly two weeks.
and I find I am suddenly and rather inexplicably very sad. I think a lot of it has to do directly with Miriam, but I think some of it has to do indirectly with the romance-related conversation I had with Meghan late last night. And maybe a bit to do with my slight lack of sleep recently. And my fears about school, which has begun as of 16:00GMT toady. But regardless of the causes, I feel very sad. And a little scared.
Yesterday, I made an omlette.
It was miy first one. It kind of failed at being an omlette. Mostly because I didn't spray the pan and it was a little bit too thin. But it tasted good, which it what counts.
I played Matrix Online last night, with Leslie and long-lost Beth, for the first time in a great while. As ever with MMORPGs, there was a significant amount of downtime, and being 12+ levels lower than anyone else there (nearly -20 compared to Leslie), I felt rather useless. But it was fun to be in there again, and it'll be good to play once in a while. I also want to see if I can revive Rapture216. I really liked her.
Oh, and we have a kitchen table now. with chairs.
But now I must be off to get to my 14:00 class. Since I'm hoofing it, it'll take me a bit longer to get there.
