OK, two questions:

For Biking, what's considered general biking etiquette? If there's a sidewalk, should you use that over the roadway? When you're on a roadway, you follow the same rules as cars, but are there any extra courtesies? Is there any buildings one can take a bike into, rather than chaining it outside?
Biking's never been big near me.

For my roommate, does anyone know where to get large-sized in-line skates? Specifically, he's looking for size-15 skates, or somewhere that he can buy custom-sized skates.

I plan on making an actual post here sometimes soon, but tonight's Poker Night up at Jeremy's, and I haven't had dinner yet.

Re: biking etiquette. Bikes are vehicles, and so should generally be ridden on the road, not the sidewalk - though this rule is often violated (and it usually makes me want to clothesline the guy on the bike who annoyedly shouts "on your left" as he barrels down the sidewalk behind me). There are some hand signals to indicate that you're turning, but I can't think of any other general etiquette. As for buildings - I'd just ask (but generally, I'd think that any place you don't have at least some place of your own - e.g., an office or some such - is a place you're probably going to get askance looks for dragging your bike around with you).
