I Have Mastered The Human Pants!

jackofallgeeksHa ha! I feel accomplished.
When I first built this new Shell for Unicron, after she left The Husk and became So Much More (hmmm, maybe I should have her name officially changed to that, it sounds cool), I had somehow miswired her frontside USB ports, and with school and life and such, never bothered to open her up and fix the problem.
Well, today I did open her up. And I found a very large dead spider (it must have crawled in her pen PCI slot and not been able to get out; spiders gimme the creeps). I also found her frontside USB cables and, after looking up USB Headers online (thanks to Azrogs, my laptop), I found that I had the positive and negative leads switched. So, I just put them where they sould be.
Long story short: I have frontside USB ports on Unicron! Whee! This brings me joy.
Of course, now I'm grabbing significant files off of her to give to Azrogs for a bit and then I'm dismantling her. The Drives, Motherbrain and Kraid, are coming out and taking a plane ride with me; I don't want to risk my data. The Shell, and her accessories, will then be shipped to be in California.
In the meantime, Azrogs will be my sole connection to The Outside World; he'll serve me now and when I get to Monterey, though I won't have internet access in my apartment until September 15th; after that, he'll keep me together until The Shell arives and I can reassemble Unicron.
So, yes. To the dismantling.
