The End at Christendom

So, that ends it. My time at Christendom is over.
Tonight was the Contra Formal. It was a bitter-sweet time; it was fun dancing, and seeing my friends, but it was the last time that I ever expect to be heading out that way. And in all likelihood, the last time I would see most of them.
The night started with me getting there early -- or rather, on time, just that everyone from the school showed up later than they'd planned. So, I kinda stood there trying not to get in the way while Josh and Christy (who remembered me. -beams- I always feel nice when people remember me, because I never expect it) got things set up.
The people from the school showed up a little later. Which included Suzannah. Who came over and talked with me first thing. -smiles- We just generally caught up on things, how the semester had been, how she'd felt burned out by her seven courses, what our plans for the summer were. It was nice. She was also really cold, being tiny as she is, and reminiscent of another similar time, I offered her my jacket, which she took. Granted, I wasn't freezing and we weren't on a boat, but it was the same good sort of feeling (which, really, only Leslie truely understands). She was also wearing 3-inch heels, which put the top of her head about eye-level with me, and which she really liked because they made her walk on the balls of her feet -- which, it seems, she enjoys. -laughs-
I'm so completely enamoured with her.
And I danced. With Suzannah, and with Meghan, and with Nicole, and with Sylvia, and with Angela, and with my other friend Meghan. It was really nice, and really fun, and I enjoyed it all.
I took some pictures, none of which really came out well, unfortunately. And at the end of the night, my other friend Meghan was saying Good Bye. And I'm so bad with Good Byes. I'm going to miss her, and I'll probably never see her again, and it's just all so... sad.
-smirk- Suzannah and I made a bet; she said that I would most definitely name my bike when I get out to California (as I've named my cars: Christine, Bessie, Aycesis, and Maggie), and I said I wouldn't. To be fair, we agreed that if I were inspired to name her, I would. If I didn't, Suzannah would bake me something. If I did, I would bake her something (which I really think is more a punishment for her, but...).
As such, I will need to learn to make cookies before I go out to California. ^_^;;
