A Walk Down The Garden Path

It's times like these that make me remeber the good old days - way back twelve months ago. They remind me of bar-b-ques in the back yard, the heavenly aroma suffusing the entire house. Of cool breazes, gently blowing through the open windows of the house. Bright, vibrant blue skies which deepen into a sparkling tapestry of miriad stars. Days where we would sit out in the yard, because we could, or go to the beach, because it was there. Trips to the pool in Ohio, and the boat rides in Pensicola.
Days like this are exhilerating. Few and far between. It's a crime that these days, these glorious days, are so often taken for granted. They pass as any other day, in the monotony of everyday life. And then, the day is gone.
