A certain kind of fame

Hey! My roomie was just looking through the archives of MagicTheGathering.com (because, yes, we are Geeks) and found an article from when they were having votes on Magic's Eigth Edition. This vote in particular was for the flavor text on a card called "Aladdin's Ring" (which blows things up), and included a submission with My Old Alias listed! I'll concede that my submission wasn't very clever at all, but hey -- it got Second place! And I only missed it by 173 votes (out of 7648).

It's my own piece of immortality. *laughs*

I ran across The Code (http://www.livejournal.com/users/jackofallgeeks/200196.html) about seventeen months ago, and made sure to note in in my journal, for easy access. Cause it's clever and such, and I am a codemonkey.
