This guy is going to give me a conniption! More on this later; those who know me may follow why this bothers me so, and it's not simply because he's ProChoice (just to get that off the table).
actually what really got me was the fact that she said she was pro-life and stated her reasons, and the guy responded as if she said she burned down clinics and poked holes in condoms at the drugstore. Saying she'd prefer to educate women in my book means something a bit more subdle, like a conversation over tea or leaving a pamphlet at a doctors office.
Also, him being a pole doesn't mean he knows what the popes views are, which he obviously doesn't. How is it i happened to know that little cornerstone about birth control when he, a practicing catholic since birth, didn't?

Because the sad truth is that Catholics are notoriously bad at educating their young, something I plan to rectify when I have children. The fact that he makes a point of being a Pole, though, tells me he actually lives in Poland (Hell, I'm Polish, but I don't make a point of it) dashes my long-standing hope that it was just an American flaw.
