My little brother and sister, Greg and Beth, got me to watch Teen Titans on Cartoon Network this evening. The episode I saw wasn't very awe-inspiring, but it seemed cute enough, and several of my friends have been saying I should look into it. As it comes on at 6:30, about when I get home anyways, I may make a habit of it.

Talking idly with Greg, we got to the topic of The Tick, which was grand with Sewer Urchin, Die Fledermaus, and American Maid. It reignited my desire to get Tick episodes on DVD -- does anyone know where I should look? Might I find such a beast on Amazon?

I love cartoon network! Teen Titans can have interesting episodes but I prefer The Kids Next Door. They are these kids that battle subvert 'adult activity' and the 'delightful children down the lane'. There is also a new show that comes on called Code Lyoko that is hard to follow. I'm like a big kid sometimes, I love cartoons :P

Generally, I'm not so much a fan of TV in general, and I'm rather insulted by most shows - cartoon or otherwise - that make it on the air these days. Every now and again they seem to hit the mark, but more often than not TV is just low-brow and crude.

I've always been a fan of the animated Batman series (which I think first aiured on Fox?) and Teen Titans seems to have a similar (if more childish) feel to it.

And the Tick just rocks. End of story. :p
