Whee. An entire weekend, out late every night and up early every morning. O.o
On Friday, I had my last exam, Logic, at 10:30, meaning I got up at about 8:30 or so to shower and such. I spent most of Friday trying to pack which, as I had no boxes, resulted in simply pulling all my stuff out of the random nooks and drawers where they were. Then, that evening, I drove out to Olny for a Surprise Party for my Grandpa, which wasn't quite a surprise when it came down to it (he didn't know we had it planned, but he figured it out before he got in the door -- it's *really* hard to hide forty cars). We were out there until Midnight, easily, eating and talking and such and stuff, and it's another 90 to 120 minutes' drive back home, so it was nearly 3am when we finally got there.
I was up on Saturday morning with my dad and two brothers, and we took several boxes up with us to School, to pack all my stuff and move it out. We did this in a timely fashion, and managed to have the room scoured before my roomie got back from his exam. I also struck a deal with my roomie, Chris, and am now the owner of a used PS2, to go along with the six PS2 games I've aquired in the last year. We went south to drop my stuff off at storage until we move into the new house (Unicron and an assortment of books came with me, as I couldn't bear to leave them for a month) and then changed and ran BACK up North for my cousin Amy's wedding. I have just recognized that the Bride and Groom get quite a bit of attention, at the service certainly, but especially at the reception! I had known this, certainly, but never really recognized t as such. I don't think I'd be able to take all that attension... ^_^;; I'm far too shy.
The reception went till Midnight as well, and though there was a further party at my cousin's house after that (which reputedly went until sunup!), we headed home and were in bed around 2:30. Which is good, as I needed to be back up to school at 10:45, which meant getting up at 8:00 so I could clean my room up before Check-out. Ran up there, did my thing and such, and then back home... At which time we headed BACK up for a Mothers' Day get-together at my Uncle's house in Olny again. More eating and family and such, which is always good. We headed out of there around 8:00 because we were all so beat.
I slept in until 10:00 this morning after getting in bed at midnight last night. If I can help it, I plan to relax today, maybe have some tea and sit and read and/or write.
