I want everyone who reads this to ask me 3 questions, no more no less. Ask me anything you want. Then I want you to go to your journal, copy and paste this allowing your friends (including myself) to ask you anything.

Why did you neglect to tell me you'd listed me as a reference :-)
What is your least favorite thing you have to do all the time?
Describe three qualities about me. (i had to do this for your summer camp thing so I figure it's fair ;-)

1. I listed you as a reference? Ha, I must've forgotten.

2. Hmmm, my least favorite thing that I always have to do... Hmmm, perhapse convincing my roomies why I won't be able to drive them around when I have other things to do, which are vastly more important to me. Yeah, that ranks high, at the very least.

3. Technically, that's not a question, so I shouldn't have to asnwer it. But, off the top of my head, I suppose you would be highly intelligent, incredibly personable, and ever so slightly elitist. (it helps that I'm not doing it for your job interview...)

1. If you could be an expert in/on anything, what would it be?

2. You enter a 10x10 room. There is an orc. The orc has a pie. You are hungry. What do you do?

3. Do you think there is life in the universe apart from on Earth? How about intelligent life? Why do you think this (if there is a reason)?

1. OK, this needs to get two answers. My knee-jerk response would probably be superstition, mythology, and the occult, which quite a fascinating subject, what with witches and faeries and gods and such. In all practicality, what I think I may well pursue as my master work is Computer Security and/or Artificial Intelligence.

2. The orc physically has the pie? As in, he's holding it? I suppose, right off, I would ask him, "Are you going to eat that?" If there is resistance, I'd wrestle it away from him with my bear hand. I got a varsity letter in highschool for orc-wrestling, you know.

3. If you're talking about extraterrestrial life as in ET or Spock or something like that... A piece of me wants to say yes, but I don't really believe it. I'm not even really sure why -- you could argue it either way -- I just don't believe in aliens. Well... No, I was going to say 'intelligent' aliens, but even non-sentient life doesn't seem believable to me, I guess.

1. Do you currently investigate and/or program AI?

2. Yes, the orc physically has the pie. The orc looks at you defensively and moves the pie away from you...protecting it. What do you do?

3. *nod* good enough! :D

1. Only tangentially -- I don't know where to look, aside from maybe picking up a book by that Hawking guy... I'm an undergraduate at a school who's CompSci department is, well, sub-par, so...

2. Hey now, if I wanted a Message Board RP, I'd run over with White-Wolf.com or something... I climb on his back and put him in a neck-hold.  :p

3. Now, see, if we were to discuss the non-existence of, say, faeries, I may have my doubts, and certainly I believe in angels, though whether they would be considered 'life' is a matter of definition...

One more...what is the origin of you user name?

Now your cheating.

Yes, my name is derived by a rather childish play on Sailor Moon, as in the anime with the highschool super-heroines in short skirts. To be honest, I'm not sure WHY I chose that name among all others to toy with, but I got 'Rolias Noom' and liked the sound of it... so it's stuck.

Ahhh...I see it now. Was that name created specifically for your LJ account?

Date: 2004-04-13 01:11 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] jackofallgeeks.livejournal.com
No. I didn't get an LJ until I came here to Colleg, but I've been Rolias Noom almost since I first got online (for a time I was AlfaOmmega, but I try to forget that time). It was originally created as a Pseudonym for one game or another that my brothers and I were playing. Eventually, I used it on Video Games, and when I got off AOL and onto AIM< it became my ScreenName.

1. Besides marriage, and family... what is one goal that you have for your life?

2. Close your eyes and relax. What is the first is the first thing you think of?

3. If you had enough money to go anywhere in the world, where would you go, who would you take with you, and why?

1. I want to write. I'm not even sure if I want to be published, really, or if I want to do one story or more or a series... but I've found I really rather like it, when I do it, and having a completed story that i can be satisfied with... Yeah, that'd be nice.

2. I'm afraid my mind is in too much upheaval to give an accuate answer -- I have a headache, a stupid class I don't want to go to at 5:00, and a bunch of other things on my mind at the moment. If it's worth anything, though, when I tried the only think that didn't go away was Ms. Suzannah.

3. Ha, wow... I guess maybe take Suzannah around Ireland... or take you with me to Italy... or maybe travel France with Meredith... Or go to Germany with Josh... Or Japan with someone...

3. Was there any method to the pairings of people with countries? If so, what was it?

Only a subconcious method, really. It just makes sense that I would take Meredith to France, or you to Italy, or Josh to Germany. I'm not sure why, exactly, it just fits like that. Taking Suzannah to Ireland plays more on a shared fasination with the English/Irish mythos, though.

1) If you take an Oriental person and spin him around several times, does he become disoriented?
2) Whatever happened to Preparations A through G?
3) Do people who spend $2.00 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water know that spelling it backwards is Naive?

1) In fact, yes -- I tried it with this one girl, Naomi. He skin lightened, her eyes un-tilted, and she started responding to the name 'Jennifer.' It took nearly an hour in he dryer, though. Low heat, of course; I'm not cruel.

2) Most of them gave the monkeys cancer, which is really bad to have. Preparation F, though, increased libido and virility -- they renamed it and started selling it in little blue pills. I hear it makes you go blind after repeated use, though.

3) That has got the be the funniest thing I have ever heard in my entire life.

1. What is your favorite flavor of PopTart?

2. If you were a Transformer, who would you be?

3. What is the one thing you remember from the last time you saw me?

1. I don't like pop tarts, actually. But, if I had to choose, Stawberry.

2. Optimus Prime, no questions asked. Was there ever a doubt?

3. The horrid picture of me with a ley on my head, and you sitting on my lap.

I may have spelled it wrong (it's been 10+ years since I lived there), but it's that Hawaiian flower necklace thingy.

OIC, hey why haven't you added this screen name to your buddy list?

My friend's list is rather in disarray right now -- it would need to be straightened and pruned before I could get you added.

1. you have 3 days to live, starting right now. what do you do?

2. growing up, what was your favourite television show?

3. out of all the worldly places you've been, which felt most like home to you?

1) Wow, cut me to the quick! Spend about a day trying to tell everyone I love how much I care for them, as best as any human tongue can. Maybe spend two days like this. Get food and stuff and spend the rest of my time wandering the Irish countryside, probably writting Snippets (I'm on an Ireland kick right now).

2) If I could but remember! -laughs- Hmmm... if I thought about it really hard... I really don't know, I'd probably come up with Transformers or something, I think. There were a lot of little cartoons I would watch as a kid, and thinking about them, most were very Anime-like... Hmmm...

3) Virginia Beach, without much dispute. I lived there for eight years, but not only that, I lived there from the time I was 10 or so until I was 18, and those, for me at least, were my most pertinent years growing up. Maryland, though, has felt like home, too -- I lived here as a kid, when I was 8 through 10 or so, and my mom's family has lived here my whole life; we would always come visit my grandparents and stuff. So, yeah... There y'go.
