The Prodigal Daughter...?

With the events on Auir concluded, the protoss escape to the Dark Templar world of Shakuras, but are followed by the Zerg. In an effort to clense the planet, The Matriarch, Raszagal, deploys Protoss forces to reclaim the Xel'Naga Temple which has been overun by the Zerg - two full broods, whose Cerebrates sit at the foot of the temple. Employing the help of Dark Templar Corsair, the Protoss assault the festering stronghold and slay the Cerebrates - only to be greeted by Kerrigan herself, the Queen Of Blades.

A far cry from the cold, calculating beast she had shown her self to be on Char - blindly attacking a decoy force when angered sufficiently - Kerrigan seems to have reclaimed a part of who she once was - a part of her humanity. She speaks of how the death of the Overmind freed her from the pogrom that had become her life, but the birth of a new Overmind threatens that freedom. She certainly appears to be the Sarah Kerrigan of old...

Raszagal listens to Kerrigan, but Aldaris cannot forgive and will not listen. He storms out of the audience chamber, refusing to awknowledge the beast from Char as an Ally. Are Kerrigan's motives true, or is she just as insidious as ever? Only time will tell.

I spoil nothing. Well, nothing I haven't spoiled with my other post. You can't honestly tell me you know what's going on from this rambling post. If anything, it says that neither I nor Aldaris trust our friend Sarah. Make of it what you will.
