What do Mage: The Awakening, Vampire: The Requiem, and Werewolf: The Forsaken have in common? They consitute the New World Of Darkness series, comming out in 3/05, 9/04, and 11/04 respecively.
There will be a core World of Darkness book detailing the creation of Mortal characters and basic game rules. Then, each of the suppliments will add creature-specific rules, like the V:tR book will detail Embracing mortal characters. It will be cleaner, faster, more cohesive. We have the technology.
This makes me very happy, though I still want the books of the original games. This renues my faith in WhiteWolf, ever so slightly, and gives me hope for a beautifully dark future to look forward to...
